ويؤكد المناصرون الذين أعلنوا (تحالف ستة رمضان ) الذي يرفع شعار (الحرية لشائع وشرف) أن هذا التحالف مفتوح ويرحب بكل الشخصيات والهيئات الضاغطة للإفراج عن المعتقلين شائع وشرف بشتى السبل المتاحة .

ويُذكِّر (تحالف ستة رمضان) بأن يوم غد الثلاثين من أغسطس هو اليوم العالمي للمخفيين ، وهي الجريمة التي يعاقب عليها القانون اليمني باعتبارها من جرائم الاختطاف، دون إغفال لأي جرائم مصاحبة كالتعذيب وانتهاك حرمة المسكن واستعمال القسوة وهي جرائم يعاقب عليها بالسجن والفصل من الوظيفة في جميع الأحوال دون الإخلال بحق المجني عليه في القصاص أو أي عقوبة أخرى، و يَعتبِر التحالف أن مماطلة الأمن القومي في تسليم المعتقلين شائع وشرف إلى النيابة بالإضافة إلى كونه جريمة وتعطيل لأوامر القضاء فإنه يعد قرينة على أن جريمة تعذيب قد ارتكبت وربما لا تزال ترتكب بحقهما ويحاول الجهاز إخفاء آثار هذه الجريمة .
